A family
home
Before it became a restaurant, Le Mazet was a silkworm farm. Silkworms were raised there back when the Cévennes region depended on silk for its livelihood. It later became the home of Pierre and Édith, our grandparents. That’s where we used to gather, eat, and entertain guests. The house hasn’t really changed its purpose since then.
Today, Nicolas, Maryline, and Vincent, along with the rest of the team, welcome you there from March 22 to September 30, 2027, for dinner. The walls are the same; the table is simply bigger.
The kitchen

Everything is homemade.
We take the time to select each ingredient, taste each dish, and adjust the seasoning for each one.
We select fresh ingredients based on their quality and origin. Here, nothing is pre-made, every day, we prepare and cook everything on-site.
Home-style cooking that’s hearty and unpretentious.
Meals are free for children under 3 years old.

A table for everyone
A team At your service

At Le Mazet, there are some familiar faces we see every year.
Nicolas, Maryline, and Vincent are there, season after season. They know the regulars, welcome new families, and watch the children grow from one summer to the next.
Over the years, bonds are formed. And it’s always a pleasure to get together over a good meal.
